2023 NFL Season - Week 14

Busy week for me.  Four cities in four days. The end of the year for me is always rushed with so many things to do and tasks to complete before our moratorium. Its a sprint to the 20th of December and then...Everything stops until January.  It will be great to spend a few weeks at home. 

Monday night I was in Jackson, TN and saw some great #MNFonDIRECTV at the Texas Roadhouse. I met with our landlord and generated an ISP sales lead which I am working with Angelina Charles to cultivate a new Sales partner. Tuesday I was in Paducah, KY working on an MT60.  Wednesday I was in St Louis fixing a bad DMG. Thursday I was back in Kansas City working on the truck and catching up with my team at Mission.

#TNFonDIRECTV was enjoyed by all at my house. Happy to be home for just a day.  Headed to Las Vegas tomorrow for a little R&R.  

On a personal note...

Everyone needs a mentor. Education is a cornerstone of good business. I have had a few great mentors in my professional life. One of the best was Mac McIntire. Mac taught me a lot about business, management, people skills, negotiations, and most of all humanity. Mac and I also served together in the Boy Scouts of America at the District level. We traveled the country together, learning, teaching, growing, and helping those around us.  Mac was a generous and kind man. Mac and I spent thousands of hours together in Las Vegas donating our time to help others. I am devastated to hear that he lost his brave battle with cancer this week. I will be at Mac's funeral this Saturday. I could stream it from home, but it's important to me that I be there in person to pay my respects and to give his wife of 50 years Nadine a hug. Thanks for Everything Mac. You will not be forgotten.

  Today marks the one year anniversary of my first column on Blogspot. It's a special day for me because When I started this blog I had no idea it would take off the way it did, or that I would still be posting today. Monday Motivation - November 4th

  Welcome to this week's Monday Motivation.  I know the end of the year is coming quick, and this is the time when we rush to get our work completed before the moratoriums start and we all start to disappear for the holidays.  Remember to focus on organization for both your personal and professional lives. It's easy to get overwhelmed and distracted this time of year, speaking from experience. Here are a couple of things I wanted to remind my circles team about this week:  People of DIRECTV: There is a pretty cool summit coming up on November 21st. Monday Motivation - December 9th

  Welcome to my last Monday Motivation, coming to you from the ASU campus in Jonesboro, AR.  I had a great two weeks off and a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. I have thought a lot about this group and how far we have come this year. I am excited to hear about your successes this week in our last meeting together.  My plan for this week's meeting is to share in your successes and what you learned about developing your personal brand.  I have already received a few out of office messages as lots of our team is on PTO.  I understand completely.  It has been an honor to lead this Mentoring circle.
